Hypocrites are those who pretend or say one thing but are not really what they claim to be. They are show off's who enjoy public attention and glory. That's why Jesus said they have already gotten their just reward.

The isn't Hypocrisy but just defending your beliefs. If arguing never happened we wouldn't now much we do. we learn a lot from argument and if that does anything good it is strengthening your faith.

It is usually elitism,one sect believes it is superior and that they have a bigger claim on God and eternity,but sometimes they can be so heavenly bound in their attitude that they are of little earthly use.

Hypocrites should come as no surprise. It is just a matter of accepting your fantasy to pleas you and friends. I person wants to gain your acceptance without embarrassing you so they lets you believe they accept the fantasy too. xx
