No angels sent to answer your prayers or to comfort, they are sent more than you think, more is being done than you feel you know about.
Perhaps God thinks about taking a vacation, thinking that we would open our eyes to him.

the world wouldn't change much becasue God right now is just watching occasionally tweaking with prayers here and there. he wants the loyal to be loyal by themselves. this world is leading itself into its own end.

God never take a vacation, & if you are saying that we should not take a vacation, forget it, We can take a vacation anywhere, anytime, I don't leave God at home when I go on vacation, I take him with me, My life is the same in Texas As it is in Indiana, But one day we all can take a vacation, In the eternal age God will once again have his majestic glory surrounding this earth with His people, & satan & all the wicked & hell itself is cast into a lake of fire.

Nothing would happen and he probably could use a vacation if he hasn't taken one in 2000 years. ; ) The world certainly would not fall apart. Angels don't answer my prayers, my gods do and theres plenty of them. I'm not a Christian so I don't pray to Jesus. (Which is why the Christians are giving me thumps down.)
