Prior to me meeting my girlfriend, she had just gotten out of a long-term relationship(about a month earlier). I have known her for a year and we have been together as a couple for 10 months. It sounds like I am the rebound guy. We get along with each other very well. Our friends think we make a great couple. Lately she told me that she still is not over her past relationship and needs time. How much time is appropriate to get over someone that has been in a long term relationship?plus she told me that she feels I treat her more as a friend than a girlfriend. I have shown her in the past that I care very deeply about her. I am thinking of sitting her down one on one. And telling her how much she means to me. I am willing to wait for her to get over her past relationship, because I truly see a great future between us. I just have a hard time expressing myself. What would say tell her?

I am willing to give her time alone(space), but I feel I have to tell her how I feel about her because it is making it hard for me to concentrate on anything else. I feel that i am in love with her and need to know if she feels the same way. Or should I just not say anything to her and just give her space?
