I'm sick at home. I have the flu and my skin is puffy and I have a horrible cough! Including a snotty nose. You can already gusse that I didn't go to school. My mom is giving me school work and she is bacicly killing me. What should I say to her?

Umm.. she's not killing you. She's trying to help you by keeping you from getting behind. Ask her to let you rest before you do your schoolwork and tell her that you don't feel well.
AND DONT SIT AND WATCH TV OR TALK ON THE PHONE ALL NIGHT OR GO OUT WITH FRIENDS. If you really are sick, drink lots of tea, warm soups, eat vegetables and take a multivitamin, and get lots and lots of rest/sleep.

you should say "thank you mother for looking out for my future. While I sit here feeling sorry for myself and exaggerating my fever you took the time to go and get my school work for me so I can keep up in my studies. I appreciate this very much." A fever is a fever, you'll get better so just push through it. Do you really think you'll die from a little work while sick?

I would say you need "hooked on phonics" since you spell like you're in second grade. Thank her for caring enough to help you learn to spell but it's not working.

ohhhhh, i have that too. it's really yucky. say to her, "what do i have to do to get some rest, hack up a lung?" i never made my kids do school work when they were sick, that really sucks!! hope you feel better soon.
