A guy told me Jewish women only have sex with their men on certain days. He told me that the women wear a certain color on a sex day, but did not know what color it was. If this is true, please tell me what color it is.

Jewish law says that couples are only to have sex on certain days in the month. The laws of niddah (purification) mean that after a woman's period ends, she is "unclean" for 2 weeks or until she visits the mikveh (ritual cleansing bath). Some people believe a shower where you bless yourself can substitute the mikveh. The reason for this is mainly that it is more healthy for the woman and the man, and the time she is allowed to have sex is also when she is at her most fertile, and when she is mostly likely to conceive children.

And no, Jewish women do not have to wear a certain color on the day they are going to have sex with their husband. I think it is everyone's custom to wear nothing at all!

Elana

That's probably only in the case of Orthodox Jewish women. I and most of the other non-observant Jewish gals have never even heard of this.
