Apparently more morning sickness points to a girl....I had Morning Sickness for 3 months with my son but for nearly 5 and a half months with my daughter...I also suffered with bad headaches with my girl...but not with my boy. Also with my daughter I had very bad skin but didnt with my son. ( I got a funny feeling you are carrying a girlie) Fingers crossed!!

I have 2 boys & 1 girl. My pregnancies with the first boy & girl were exactly the same & my last child (the boy) was completely different from the other 2. Different pregnancies doesn't always mean different sex babies. I have heard & do notice that you carry more around the back & hips with a girl than with boys. Also with a girl you are supposed to crave more sugary foods than with boys (just old wives tales though!)

Thats an aweful attitude. As a mom to 3 boys I cant believe people think like this. Does that mean that if it is another boy (75% chance it will be) you will be disappointed? I love my 3rd son just as much as my other 2 and he was VERY wanted. He is adorable and I would NEVER swap him for a girl, or wish he had of been. For the record all my pregnancies were totally different from each other. Be thankful to be able to have kids, and hope above all you are blessed with a HEALTHY, HAPPY baby.

Old wives tale: attach a piece of thread to a gold ring (wedding band good but not essential). Do not touch the ring. Hold the thread in one hand and rub. Hold the other hand palm up. Draw the thread against the side of your hand (ie between thumb and fingers) without the ring touching you. Then hold the thread with the ring suspended above your palm. The ring should start to move. If it swings side to side it indicates boys, in a circular motion indicates girls. The only problem is I don't know how it shows numbers. It will show your boys first then if you see a circular motion it should indicate this is a girl. Good Luck!

With my third child I wanted another girl ( already had 1 of each) I had a boy. My son is only 4 now. He is being tested with the local school about skipping kindergarten altogether and going straight into 1st grade. ( he is extremely gifted) Thinking back I am more than grateful to have my son.. ( i did have another girl with my 4 pregnancy) Just enjoy the little person who comes to you. They may not be what you had hoped for, but they will quickly make you grateful to have them.
On a side note to answer your question.. I noticed when I was pregnant with my boys, that I loved " heavy" foods...meat, potatos, lasagna.. all that sort of stuff.. with my girls, grease made me sick, all I wanted was fruit and yogurt.. I know it sounds really odd, but thats just my experiance.

I heard that if you haven't put any weight on (only the bump) and its all out front then its a boy. If you have put on weight everywhere then its a girl.
You could dangle a wedding ring over your bump, if it swings side to side its a boy.
Or you could just ask the sex at the next ultrasound!
You should be hoping for a happy and healthy baby more than anything else, good luck x

They say you cant tell by how you carry, but I think the old wives tale is true, if you have a boy the bump is more pronounced in frount, if you carry a girl I think you generally put on more weight all over, and bump is more round. Like if someone is looking at you from behind, they can tell your pregnant if your having a girl, but if its a boy they cant until they see you from the frount. It sounds silly but with me and most of my friends its true. Good luck!

Each pregnancy is different. I was horrendously sick and everyone said I was having a girl, and I was however, my mum was on all her 2 boys and 2 girls. They should be able to tell you on your 20 week scan.
Good luck with pregnancy
