Do a nation wide search on a major used car website to see the range of prices for cars similar age and miles.

Then, depending on how soon you need to sell the car, advertise it at a higher price then gradually reduce over time.

In any online advertisment, make sure you have photos showing your car is very clean, including engine bay, freshly polished and waxed. Also, take the picture in a nice location at a time when it looks its best.

bmw will always give you less than its worth...the gits!

It all depends on the area you live in, you should be asking in the region of £9.500 ,check out the local press and car show rooms to get an idea on prices

BMW have offered you a fair price for it at £9k, In a private sale £10.5k would be about right looking to accept £10k.

You can check the market value on your car from many websites found on the net ..... just google "resale value of auto" .. or this one "Blue Book Value On Cars" ....
