Romans 8: 35-39 because it explains the depth of God's love.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The vessel that broke open, the contents that spilled out and the "ONE." This was in my Bible when I was in confirmation. While some might interpret this as a ship crashing others have interpreted it as birth because the woman's womb is also referred to as a vessel. I don't remember which part of the bible because others have also said it wasn't in theirs. There is an interesting statement from the old testament which had said; If there should ever come among you one who is a dreamer of dreams you must kill him.....Does that mean a Prophet? What about Edgar Cayce wasn't he a dreamer of dreams?Does this mean we idolize psychics so they are false prophets?Interpretation is the key and it seems many of us haven't realized that many of the things Jesus had prophesied about were natural disasters. Like a great wheel cast into the sea could be an asteroid or meteor etc.An underwater eruption etc.Stars falling from the sky or molten rock etc.The Beast that was and is not and yet is could be the laws of nature and the planet itself. Many don't realize that when Jesus had prophesied he saw the actual future. So, for me prophecy and it's interpretation stands above many other things written in the bible.

Luke's account of Jesus calling Simon (later Peter) to be His disciple -- that's probably the one that's had the biggest impact on me.

For many years, I think my own sinfulness kept me apart from God, and gave me mental cause not to pursue a relationship with Him.

But Jesus didn't take "no" for an answer from Simon, even when he tried to push the Lord away on account of being "not good enough" for Him.

A few years ago, I had a very similar experience.

There is a connection between understanding the scriptures true meaning and being in union with Jesus Christ in consecrated Bread and Wine.

In Luke Chapter 24 it says: So he went in to stay with them. 30* When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to them. 31 And their eyes were opened and they recognized him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 They said to each other, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?" 33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven gathered together and those who were with them, 34* who said, "The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!" 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

“Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone is joined to the Lord the veil is taken away.” (2 Cor 3:14-16) How? Jesus' commanded Peter to feed his flock. What is it that Peter is to feed the followers of Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ himself. This is why Jesus said, "my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.” (John 6:55) Because God is Spirit and his Word (Christ) became flesh, God requires that we join His Son (physically) and have a supernatural faith by recognizing (mentally & spiritually) what we do not see (physically). And so, when we go to receive the consecrated bread and wine we can pray as Jesus taught us in Matthew, "give us this day our supersubstantial bread." (Mt 6:11 Douay-Rheims)

" . . . We do not ask because we deserve help, but because you are so merciful." Daniel 9:18
___________________________________
I love this verse best of all because it touched me more profoundly than any other verse in scripture. The first time I read it I fell on my knees in deep sorrow for how merciful the Lord has been to me. I cried deeply for all the sins I had committed in His sight and in great thankfulness for HIS undeserving mercy on me! Not until I read these words did it hit me that it isn't my right that I get to pray, but that it is due entirely to God's bountiful mercy.

God Bless You

Revelations 17:3-6

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

The reason is obvious.

Psalms 143. I use it as a prayer to meditate on sometimes. It's too long to write though. Read it and think about the truth in it. God bless.

Jeremiah 1: 5-8 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
"Ah, Lord God, I said, I know not how to speak; I am too young."
But the Lord answered me,
Say not, "I am too young." To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak. have no fear before them, because I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord."
These words have guided me my whole life. I truly believe God loves us even before we are born and God calls each of us to serve God in what ever way we can.
