I think I'm going to get the Clandestine logo tattoed between my shoulder blades. Any thoughts or suggestions on the pain level?

Oh, and I'm sure I want to get it. And it is just going to be the black outline, which I know will help some. Even if I 'grow out of it,' I wouldn't want to get it removed. It's a symbol of who I am right now, and I want to remember that.

tatoo's do hurt no matter where you get them i have 2 one on my lower back and one in the middle kinda of my shoulder blades honestly the upper one between my shoulder blades did not hurt nearly as bad as the lower one. At first it hurts it feels like a person is slinging a rubber band at you but constantly but then your body kinda goes numb and you dont feel it anymore now to me the most painful of getting a tatoo is when your all finished because its hurts so bad to move and its stings and itches you so bad you want to scratch the hell out of it soooooooooooooooo bad it becomes annoying but can't . So dont worry but they ARE VERY ADDICTING. Also, try not to use too many colors because the more he stops to change colors the more you will feel cuz if its a constant pain your body will get used to it and go numb rather than everytime he has to start over again dont be scared I was 18 when i got mine and I went through it so can you good luck

The outline hurts more than the coloring . I have a leggin . Ankle to hip and the color wasn't bad , outline ye-ow! . Also depends on your tolerance for pain . I have a high tolerance . AND , whatever you do , don't go there drunk or have a few before to calm your nerves , alcohol thins your blood and you'll bleed like a skinned rabbit , (personal experience with my first one ) after all that , good luck !

pain varies on the person. im pretty covered myself, i have 2 sleeves, a chest tat and a tat across my upper back. i do have to say though, that my back one was a different kind of pain, it was more like an electric shock.
but, honestly, just ask the artist to lift the needle as much as possible. It only hurts when it's down. Suck it up, the pain lasts as long as its being done, the glory lasts forever.

Pain varies and everyone is different, so its really tough to say exactly how it will feel for you.
To me, its like scratching over a sun burn, but after 10-20 minutes of tattooing, adrenaline kicks in and its not so bad. The pain is part of it...I'm sure you'll be fine.

That spot will not be too bad. It's not a hug and it will not be a tickle, it's still going to hurt but it is one of the least painful places. I would recomend you save such a great piece of skin for a better tattoo but it's your skin.

I don't have one there but cudos for you for sticking up for what you want! Don't let those "you'll regret it" people get to you. In my opinion, thinking that hard about decades from now is unhealthy anyways :)
Besides...we are all going to be old and wrinkly no matter what...so whats wrong with a little art to decorate those wrinkles?

I have a tattoo on my sholder blade & the pan was not very bad at all. I also have my eyebrows, eyeliner & lips tattooed Cosmetically. I also have an ankle chain & my ankle was the worst for pain. My lips were painful while healing but not bad during the procedure. The facial/cosmetic tattoo's were prepared with topical anesthetics to make them numb!

to be honest mine felt like alot of little bee stings. not painful but did bring a few tears to my eyes when they did the underside of my arm. anyplace that is sensitve or near the bone will hurt more than someplace with a lot of cushion. ny neck tat hurt more than the one on my thigh. it does not hurt after it's done though. the one on my side hurt most of all.

for just and outline it will feel like someone scraping a needle across your skin. It will probably hurt a little more when they get over your spine. Trust me when they start doining it you will be like "Thats it? " and will feel stupid for being worrid about the pain.
