Yes, if it came with a tag/sticker you should read what kind of light and soil it requires and also some blooming plants need plant food to grow their best. If you know your plant's name I would do a internet search to find out how other people recommend how to care for the plant(s) you have.

yes it does, depends on where you put the plant it will get more or less sunshine, and the sun is a very important ingreediance on how beautiful it will grow. As you know some plants love the sun and some plants don't. You should ask the green lady in the shop before you go home with a plant.

Yes sure, plants need sunlight, fresh air to grow. They create their food through photosenthesis.

yes, absolutely...there are plants that need direct sunlight and plants that like indirect sunlight....it just depends on the kind of plants you have.
