expedia.co.uk - best travel site ever. Do try this before you confirm. You can find very cheap travel and the website is jolly useful. I've booked weekend breaks which end up 75% cheaper than my travel agent can do AND in the same hotel! Don't know how they do it, but it works!
Have a good time. Remember to go on the bateaux mouches, whcih are the river boats through the city. Very memorable.

http://paris.c-lafrance.com/ will give plenty of clues on Paris and lodging (under "hebergements")

For the flights, have a look at easyjet.com, you may find the price you are looking for, especially if you are booking in advance or at the last minute.

Tell her to wrap up warm. Paris tends to be very cold this time of the year.
