no way did u spend five years trying to get over the 1st. Well mate I must say that you need to learn first of all to let go of the past. Trust me on this, Better always comes after a loss. So just let go and try something new such as friends. They help out a lot. Just get over it and think of it, no being meant to be.

I'm not afraid per se, just disillusioned. I avoid all potential "meeting" situations and make myself as unattractive as possible (and I'm quite good at it, thank you).
I'm actually happier now NOT being in a relationship.
