Not every girl bleeds when she loses her virginity either. Often times the hymen (the seal) doesn't obstruct the opening enough to need to be broken for sex and sometimes a girl breaks her hymen prior to the first time having sex by masturbating or even riding a bicycle or horse. Basically... just because it's her first time doesn't mean her hymen will be broken, and just because her hymen is broken doesn't mean you'll necessarily see blood.

It depends on the girl, but generally it's not a whole lot - about as much as a moderate nosebleed. Bring a towel if you're concerned.
