Love...I do have friends that live in the US from India and they are in arrange marriages and are doing fine....

The love marriage is best. An arranged marriage is when someone else picks a mate for you. It's best to get to really know a person well, spend a lot of time with them doing all sorts of things. Then after a year or two, you should have a good idea whether you really want that person or not.

I personally seen both forms work and fail. So it depends on the individuals. Some arranged marriages are arranged by the two parties themselves, like my parents. So if you map it out correctly you can contract a marriage and have a family. The best advice I can give is if you do go for a contract marriage just don't make it obvious and find way to teach your children about love.

Actually, arranged marriages have a really high success rate. That's because expectations start out low and go up. In love marriages, the excitement lasts about two years, and then the kids come along, and happiness plunges down, and it takes until the kids are grown to equal the original happiness. But, you have to live in a society where arranged marriages are accepted for this to work.
I'd do it both ways. I'd ask family to arrange everything, but then I'd get to know the person to see if it was really right.

At least when it's a love marriage, you have a choice. With an arranged marriage, you either get married or suffer at the hands of your family. (In some way.) However, I would prefer to have neither. I love singlehood too much for marriage.

Arranged marriage is a better one becoz in this marriage is held between 2 strangers n after marriage they have a lot 2 share among themselves n this marriages often end up with luv
But in luv marriages the couples alrady no about each other n their is not much 2 share about after marriage n luv marriages often end up with divorse!!!!!!!!!!!

depend upon people and there way of thinking ..........
as per my view arange marriages are best coz at that time u can depend upon u r parents if some thing goes wrong but in love marr. some time parents never help so for security resons arranged marr are best.

In arrange marriage support will be there from the family but where as in love marriage only support you have is your galfriend. if she doesnt support you after marriage you are out.

a love marriage of course.. you marry her to love her and arranged marriage might not involve that because your basically just picking any girl :) :) :)
