I've never heard of a woman giving a man flowers. Why is this? I'm a man, and I don't understand why flowers are only given to women by men.

I guess it's more of a feminine trait than a masculine trait, to enjoy receiving flowers. But hey, if a guy likes flowers, I'll get some for him! :)

If I had an idea that a man liked flowers I would definitely give them to him, no doubt! But most of the men I know of prefer little cute things like love letters....but they don't want their pals to know about it. I don't think that buying flowers should just be for women from men, but it should be for whomever loves flowers. Women just feel like men should do this for them, but I think a man should only do it if he is sincere about her and he actually wants to do it!

I have been given flowers on two occasions. The first time my ex-wife (while we were still married) sent me flowers (roses?) at work. I don't remember the occasion, but I felt very uncomfortable with the situation and while I appreciated the gesture, I would have preferred she hadn't. The second time was a woman I was dating not long after we had actually decided to be together. I appreciate the gesture much more that time, but I also felt like I was obligated to send her flowers as well.

I could say a lot of things but mostly I'll call it tradition. My son gives me flowers often, so I'm trying to instill in him the idea of giving flowers to a man.

Of course it could just be that women are encouraged to be self-respecting ahead of partner-respecting and giving of a flower indicates that you find your partner beautiful. Men are not allowed to be beautiful even if they are. Plus, women feel defeminized around a beautiful man.

it relies upon on the lady. there are some women who do no longer choose the flowers (and that i understand because of the fact they have instructed me specifically... and while i attempted giving the some besides they have been given mad). frequently i tend to offer them a flower, and spot how they react... in the event that they like it, i supply them flowers particularly usually (each time it strikes my fancy). yet while they're against me giving them flowers... i'm going to tend to objective to offer them something else they are going to rejoice with... even nonetheless it frequently finally ends up being slightly extra durable to get.

Flowers are trivial. A cute girl giving you a flower is cool but your life partner should be giving you something substantial.

Men are hungrier and greedy by nature.

Generally, flowers are frilly, dainty, and I haven't seen many dainty men recently. Now- a plant is another story. A plant, I would say, is more masculin, particularly a dark green one.
I used to buy balloons for my exhusband. He didn't like those either.

its because the people they feel that the girls are sensitive and they love flowers, and for men they think that men are rough and tough so they dont need flower but actually i have seen so many girls giving flowers ( but mostly all wifes giving their husbands)

Do men even like flowers?
I wouldn't like to get flowers. They're going to die anyway.

Not true at all. I've bought men flowers and gifts many times.....so have most of my girlfriends. The women you know apparently suck.
