How about going down with her to see what kind of sea creatures we both share in common? I'm not an octopus on a first date, but if she wants to have a wet dream, I'm not going to be shellfish!

In answer to your question about why...I'm an extreme man; what fun is being 'normal' and safe? We're all going to die, but we're not all going to truly live!

I could have suggested skydiving...I just didn't want her to run screaming into the night!

I'm not sure if you want to have such an extreme date that one or both of you end up dead. You haven't indicated whether either or both of you are scuba certified. If you both are, then there isn't a problem. If one of you isn't certified, then there is a risk in taking the other person on the dive. What happens if they panic or if there is an emergency? The other person has to be able to handle that. And, of course, if neither of you is certified, you would be foolish to consider this.

Of course, it is always possible to have dive instructors along, to help with those who are not certified.

Does it have to be extreme choices. Why not stay on land instead?
