Yea. Clearly, it should be left up to each state to decide what their drinking age is. But Congress pulled a stunt back in the 1980s where if the states didn't make their drinking age 21+ they couldn't get federal highway funds. So we ended up with a de-facto national drinking age of 21.

Yes mam they do. You can join the army and die for your country at 18 but you can't legally have a beer until you are 21. Doesn't really bother me because I don't drink. but it bothers some.

yup, I think Hawaii was the last to change from 18 when 21 became the federal law.

your not mature enough even at 21 to be drinking in my opinion. Drunk drivers kill! I think it should be raised to 25 years old.

yes, it used to be 18, but the 21st ammendment made it 21.
