Over the past month I've been on alot of medications for various problems and a recent surgery (hysterectomy). Now I"m having nausea, some heartburn, pressure or a swollen feeling in my stomach and esophagus. When I lay down the symptons feel worse. I also have some chest pain with this as well. Most often when I"m laying down. Is this symptoms of an ulcer or something else?

You could have problems caused by anelgesics or similar drugs, which can aggravate ulcers or similar conditions.Ulcers are easily treated with modern medicines, but can certainly be caused or stirred up by a lot of fairly common medications used for other purposes, especially stuff like analgesics.
I have had ulcer problems, which are now completely cured apart from internal scarring, however I am no longer permitted to use most forms of painkillers.Ulcers can be cured with modern antibiotics. The treatment is effective in most cases.Symptoms are also easily controlled with the proper medication. So see your doctor for diagnosis and a prescription.

Hey! I do the same thing.Although i had my hysterectomy 10years ago.I don't think you have an ulcer. An ulcer just feels like a sore in your stomach. You may have IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome),GERD And/or Acid Reflux Disease.I've been diagnosed with all 3. Or you might could have a Hiatal Hernia.Which i was told that i have a small one.Do you hurt right in the middle of your chest But,like under your breast's?That's where mine hurts alot. So,you might look these up online or talk to your doctor about these.Hope I've been some help.
