I don't like arranged dates, but I figured I'd try it 'cause it's been a while since I dated a girl from the U.S. Here's my idea...
I was thinking of taking her flying to a casino down the Colorado river, about an hour away. We could have dinner, catch some music(I have friends that play in the Las Vegas area) and maybe do some gambling. I don't have anything pressing to do the next day, so if she wants, we can stay overnight at the hotel/casino. That night, or the next morning we can fly back to Vegas. What do you think?

Contrary to what a couple of replies have thought, it's cheaper than you think; and to the 'loss of control' answer, why must anyone 'control' a date? It's for enjoyment and learning a person, not to bend people to your will!

I never had a date like that and I think I would be intimidated. I would surely see a few dollar signs fly around my head and I would probably not go because the date would be out of my control. I like to know exactly where I am and I would not spend the night in the same room because I'm sure there would be other activities other than gambling in your mind. If she knows you and there is some attraction to you she will probably go and you will have a great time. good luck

Wow..this is not ordinary.... depends with what kind of girl you are dating...if she is adventurous like you are, there seems no problem...but she might be different of what you are...maybe she likes to have a drink...to know you better....before meeting you in the air, don't you think :)

i think its a great idea!
but what if she's not the gambling,fast paced type?and totally turned off by this schedule?
what about her choice? leave options open for a change of plans.
