Making a long distance relationship work can be frustrating and exhausting for both parties but there has to be a "light at the end of the tunnel" to look forward to, the time where two people can finally be together..It takes a strong commitment and a lot of communication, love, trust, honesty, patience, and understanding to make the relationship work but it's worth it..

I am in love with a guy I didn't see for 3 years now. We love each other, and keep in touch through e-mails, chatting and sometimes phone calls. So it is possible - everything is possible, as long as you both try hard, keep in contact and you will see! Sooner than you know you will meet each other. And besides, as the saying goes 'Far form the eyes but close to the heart'. It can work only if you make it work.

they must trust each other and know each other really well. It can work if both person will put an effort to trust and being honest with each other. But to most people, it won't work if the other person have doubts.
