I live in a Muslim country so I live near many mosques. I love hearing the prayers, they are peaceful and remind me that Allah is ever-present.

If I did, it sure would. Why don't you offer to do a bit of electrical DIY at the mosque, and wire the speaker into the national grid. Then when the muzzie flicks the switch, he will get 132,000 volts right in the breadbasket.

I live close to five mosqus and one big church ....nothing bothers me...the call of prayer makes me comfortable and i miss it if dont hear it....its nice:)

Not me...the nearest mosque is I think about 100km from me (probably even further)...but I still wanna hear what the azaan sounds like!
