I signal when I'm turning into a parking space or onto a road. But when it comes to changing lanes, I don't because of the reason Hawaii SEO states...if you signal, they will close up the gap leaving you out. For some strange the aloha spirit is gone when it comes to that. So now, I just change lane without signaling or I start changing lanes and once a wheel or two is over, I'll signal. If I get hit, I have my signal on.

But the main question you should have asked is why do all the slow drivers drive in the fast lane and continue driving side by side with car in the slow lane even if there is like 20 cars piled behind the slow driver (in the fast lane)...that's just wrong!

If you use the blinker... You give up the element of surprise.

For example... If you use your blinker to indicate that you would like to merge into my lane... This gives me the opportunity to step on the gas and tale-gate the person in front of me so you can't get ahead of me. It works every time.

Well, maybe because they are perpetually in a state of turning. I mean, they can't go straight for very long... its an island... you'd hear this big splash.
