For a Buddhist an Action is breaching the priciple of the 5 Precepts if the Action has an intention to be self serving and/or is purposefully intended to cause harm or suffering to another.
Examples include but are not limited to Using False Speech, the intention is to be prideful and to cause anothers suffering by inciting embarrassment or humiliation.
Stealing what is not freely yours, where the intention is to take from another causing suffering from its loss.
There are many others but the theme of causing suffering to others is identical, therefore identifying the Action as against the principles of the 5 Precepts.
Peace from a Buddhist...in the season of joy...

It depends on what you are using as your moral compass. I feel that anything you knowingly do that takes advantage of another person or directly harms another person is immoral. So that would include stealing, lying, assult, etc.

God said it best when he created the Ten Commandments.
If one does not know what is entailed in the Ten Commandments, that he or she is doing something morally wrong.
Amen.
