No matter in this world gets destroyed completly.It changes its form.Water cycle is just the same thing.Water from oceans and other water bodies evaporate and rise up into the atmosphere.There these vapours come together and form clouds.Once these clouds gets filled with water ,they precipitate down as rain.The cycle continues on.
This is the basic idea of water cycle.Hope u got the ideas

water evaperates,becomes a cloud (gas) which gets bigger and bigger until it rains and becomes a liquid onces more.
