I need help for my home economics class, and i need it by tomorrow. I need to know what nutrients are in the ff foods:
1. calamansi/kalamansi
2. eggs
3. bread
4. oil
5. cucumbers
6. lettuce and
7. cheese
I would appreciate it if anyone answers at once. Thank you. ^_^

I've never had calamansi, but being a citrus fruit, they have a lot of Vitamin C, which is an antioxidant. If you eat them in segments, you would get a good amount of fiber, but I think they're pretty sour. Their juice would basically be a lot of sugar, because the Vit C would oxidize when exposed to air and basically dissapear. Eggs have protien, and some great fatty acids. Good bread has 100% whole grain, but wonderbread is basically just a bunch of starch, Oil can have vitamin E, but especially the oil in nuts. Cucumbers are a lot of water ... not sure what they have but it isn't a lot! Bad lettuce, like iceberg, is also mostly water. But nice dark leafy greens have non-heme iron, or plant iron. Cheese is usually a lot of fat and a little protien.
