Deglaze while the pan is still hot/immediately with any alcohol. I recommend your favorite liquor - I use rum - & pour the remnants over a peeled banana. There is a very HIGH chance that it will flambe (flame up about a foot), so keep your head back. BTW, the banana will be delicious. Then just wash the pan like you normally would.

Dont bother to scrub. Boil water in the pan. Just makes sure the water covers the sugar completely. This works with utensils, too.

Coat the bottom of the pan with baking soda or try using salt as a second choice.

I would squirt some dish liquid in the pot, then turn on the hottest water and let the pot fill up.
then let it soak for an hour. it should be dissolved by then.

put dawn in pot add water boil a few minutes then turn off let sit should come clean if not do it again!

I get some vinegar in a pan with some baking soda. Bring it to boiling and boda boom boda bing. Hope you like some vinegar, though. :)

Try boiling water in it. That works for a lot of stuck on food.
