I believe that it's a huge and scary risk. But all dating is scary, I guess. When you finally meet them in real life, be careful about being in a public venue. The Internet dating services are safer, as they screen applicants. Good luck.

E-dating is not a bad thing. I've met a couple good girls and a couple pretty worthless girls on Y! personals. Not just romantic interests either, I've been friends with a girl i met online for 2 years now. I'm not ashamed of doing it, nor should anyone else be.

its a great idea to know other people around the world without leaving your own country.
its kinda bad because most of the people using that kind of dating is not honest. lets be true, even movies portray those lies in the internet.
others pose as a great looking and sexy girl but in reality theyre the opposite of the one in the picture.
so its just ok

Good in theory, generally bad in practice. eHarmony, match.com, Yahoo! personals, and true.com seem to be the most popular ones. Also, they aren't quite popular enough in most areas to be really good for most people. It's worth a try, I suppose . . . but it could get expensive. Good luck!
