The innocent ones say they have nothing in them but fruit.

They would have to be - hats off to the people at Innocent for their briliant product however it does say on the box that it is "lightly pasturised". Now pasturisation involves heat and heat destroys vitamin C. Anything you make yourself with fresh ingredients is going to be better for you than something you bought in the supermarket - every time.

there are no additives in innocent smoothies, they are just fruit, so the stuff inside the bottle is exactly the same as if you'd made it at home.

BUT if you make them at home then you have to buy vast quantities of fruit to get the nice flavour combinations that innocent have, which works out almost as expensive as buying them ready made - plus you have the hassle of the washing up.

innocent all the way!

Yes, I think that they are because you know exactly what you put into your smoothie, where as with the innocent ones you are just relying and going by what a manufacturer says are in them, and how can you be 100% really sure

Home made smoothies are better than 'Innocent' only because even though 'Innocent' only put fruit in their smoothies they still have to be pasteurised which tends to destroy all the nutrients in the fruit.

I can't really say yes OR no to that question. I'll try and give a balanced answer.

Yes: Providing that you have organic an non-chemicalised fruits. You can never REALLY trust people in a factory. there's bound to be some sort of chemicals inside there.

No: 'ACCORDING' to their cute little cartons, all they put inside the smoothie is fruit, and nothing but fruit.

I'll leave this one for you to decide.

Homemade ones are probably better. You don't know what people put in smoothies made somewhere else. They might have bad ingredients or it may be dirty. You know what you're putting in a smoothie if you make it yourself.
