Hi, OK, the reason you have black heads isn't so much to do with hygiene. The reason you have it is because you have larger pores on your body and your body is producing to much oil thus clogging the pores creating black heads, now I read recently that having a sauna is good or a steam hot shower (to open the pores to draw out the black heads). Try Dermalogica, http://www.dermalogica.com Their products are specially formulated for problem skin, it's great. Its the most researched best skin care ever. It won't dry your skin or strip your skin of the essential oils. Try Dermalogica's regime for skincare, they do body care to. Their exfoliators are great and very gentle. Failing that, try Austrailian body care. All their products are anti bacterial and comtain Tea Tree oil. This is very good for preventing further break outs. http://www.australianbodycare.com/ Good luck

Okay.. Let's first combat the blackhead problem as that seems to be what you're mostly worried about, there are a few options:
1. Get some decent nose pore strips from your local drug store (these will lift the small ones off your nose and there are some you can use on any part of your face too, as long as it's not too sensitive).
2. I get the occasional blackheads (and also some that are quite large and difficult to get out) and I've tried loads of different ways but I've found only this one really works well: Clean all the make-up off your face and fill a sink with hot water (as hot as you can stand, the hotter the better), then dip a flannel in and squeeze it out. Immediately apply this to the area where you will be 'combatting' those blackheads (do small areas at a time), do this two or three times to make sure those pores are completely opened. Then grab two tissues and with the sides of your fingers, squeeze the blackheads. It's a bit manky to watch because it's unbelievable how much comes out but it really works. But if one doesn't come out straight away, don't squeeze it too hard or you'll break the skin, just try it with the hot flannel again. When you've done all that, splash your face wth cold water to close the pores (essential to stop more appearing) and then moisturise your face really well.
3. Exfoliate once a fortnight, this really clears out your pores.
4. Also steam your face and then do the same as what I said in step 2. It takes longer but works just as well and makes your skin feel really fresh too!
5. Don't use too much make-up as this just clogs your pores up and presents you with more zits and blackheads.
On the other hand, don't squeeze those spots, as it DOES cause scarring and just makes them worse. Unless they have a really big head on them, then make sure your hands are clean and use two tissues again, but don't force it or it just makes it worse.
I would recommened a cream to help get rid of any acne you have. Anything with Benzoyl peroxide in it works really well... Quinoderm cream(http://www.quinoderm.com/splash_treatment.htm) is the only cream which is available over the counter and that you don't have to get a prescription for containing this product. I use it and it has done wonders for my face and back. It gradually reduces the acne but don't forget to keep using it even when your face is clear. Also, dermalogica acne-prone skin kit is really good for those odd zits anywhere especially the medicated clearing gel, I use that a lot and it gives really clear (haha) results..
Also, it sounds like you are using the wrong products. I would imagine you have quite greasy skin because that's usually what causes pimples and blackheads [especially] if you say that you are a 'clean' person, which I have no doubt you are.. So use something with tea tree and witch hazel in it, something like Boots tea tree and witch hazel toning and cleansing lotion. But be sure to moisturise afterwards as dry skin causes spots too.. Use a light moisturiser like Olay or something. But search around and find products that suit you and don't worry, expensive stuff isn't always the best because even though it might work wonders for your best friend it doesn't mean it will be the right combination for you...
And these spots and blackheads will disappear naturally in time anyway because it has a lot to do with hormones and you're skin is changing and it's oil balances aren't quite right yet.
So, don't worry because people don't notice your flaws half as much as you do yourself. Walk tall and confident and don't let some little things like that upset you!
Good luck!

Good morning
I'm an aesthetician and my best recommendation is to go to
www.exelskincare.com a professional skin care line, mineral oil free.
1) you will need to cleanse your face with sebum cleanser
while in shower the steam will open your pores making easier for this cleanser to do the job./also you may want to add the exel facial scrub is made of apricot seed so tiny that is the only scrub in the market today that can be used around the eye area.very safe to used even if you suffer of acne.
2) after cleansing, apply the toner will help you to balance your skin PH which is your main concern right now.
3) apply your sebum control moisturiser; this moisturiser contains silybum marianum, it is a plan that makes the sebaceous gland to stop producing so much sebum and reduce your pores. apply day and night.
if you follow this steps trust me you will see a big difference in the first day of use not kidding.
Good luck any other question drop a line.
I'm here to help

Steam works wonders. It makes the blackhead come out better, as it opens the pores.
Try to use natural products rather than garnier as that may be too harsh.
I use T-zone nose clear out strips, which gets rid of blackheads around the nose area.

My husband is a fanatic about keeping blackheads off of him and me...he picks all the time....he tells me to put a warm cloth on my face to draw them out. Try a different product, other than Garnier...it may be making the problem worse. Also, the doctor can prescribe a topical solution....forgot what it is called...it is a roll on....very common prescription, and it works.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Same thing with me. I am a clean person but I ALWAYS get zits. Some even that NEVER go away. I've tried soooo many products, and the best so far is ProActiv. It really works! My pores aren't all gone, but I look A LOT better than I did before. I recommend you try using ProActiv.

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer better then twenty times. Often, the person who voted it the best answer was amazed at how well it worked, even those who had severe cases of acne. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.
Here are some of the previous comments I cut and pasted from those who voted it as the best answer, (Copied and pasted as written. Capital letters seen are as originally answered)

Try using Mary Kay products. I have found that is the only thing that works for me, and I have tried EVERYTHING!! Mary Kay has a mask, it's mask #2 (green in color) and it does wonders for my blackheads! Use it twice a week and I promise you will get results.
