Yes, it is possible to be evil and a Christian. Being Christian is simply a title that people give to themselves. When people call themselves Christian, it is not really a title that God or Jesus gave them so the title is practically meaningless. Although in theory, it is supposed to mean someone who is "trying" to live a life of righteousness. Whether you call yourself Christian or not will be irrelevant when God judges the hearts of men.

Evil does not live in the heart of a TRUE christian believer. When you accept Jesus as your Savior the Holy Spirit fills your heart and soul with love. Evil cannot reside in a heart that truly believes in God. As far as priests who molest children, first of all you are talking about Catholic religion (different belief in salvation and forgiveness to start with - this is confessing your sins to another human being - not God). Only an Evil person (priest or whatever titIe of occupation he has) is capable of molesting another human being. I believe that an evil christian is a contradiction of terms because anyone who has a personal relationship with Christ cannot have the evil in their hearts that would be needed to hurt a child. True evil finds pleasure in the pain and suffering of others, christians do not.

They can't be true Christians and do that, no matter who they are. If they are Christians, they would know that God doesn't condone things like this and he will punish them. Evil is everywhere, and yes even in the churches, but Evil isn't Christian. Evil walks amongst us all the time. You can find Evil in all religions not just Christianity. Think about it, if you were the Devil, wouldn't you try to corrupt people in Gods house? No matter what the religion? That is why we people of this earth need to really study and think about Gods words to us, so we can tell the difference.

By definition, a Christian should be a follower of Christ . He was not evil. It is a contradiction in terms. Even if those who molest children are Christian, (I doubt it) They are not BEING Christian when they do that.

No such thing as an Evil Christian.... One is either evil or good. i do think it is a contradiction in tems. Christianity is the belief in Jesus and his teachings. If one is doing evil things, then he cant be a Christian. (now, everyone screws up now & then, but im talking about really being purposely evil)

Religion itself is a sham I think. Filled with hypocrites! I think the Buddhists got the right idea!!!

Yes, just take a look at the Dark Ages, The Inquisition, The Crusades, the Witch Trials, etc... Not to mention modern day tele-evangelists who scam money off of poor folks with their lies so they can live in mansions and wear diamonds and gold. There's been plenty of evil Christians throughout history.

Oh it shouldn't be too hard. I don't know cause I'm neither, but it shouldn't be too hard. Why do you ask?
Also to be a Christian and a pervert, that shoudn't be too hard either.

Church people, their religion is nothing like the religion Jesus had, so they can be just about anything.

Evil or misguided (choose your term) ... it abounds and it is not limited to any particular religious belief. It exists in all areas of religion.
