I don't have a six pack, and I'm in the normal BMI range for my height.

What I'm wondering, is what causes the line down the centre of my stomach/torso area? Is that where each ab kind of is aligned, or what?

Or does that mean that if I lost a few pounds and toned up my core, there would be abs there?

Can everyone get a six pack, or only certain body types?

That line you see is a part of the muscles structure. The muscles that lie there are designed with ligaments that come together at the center of your stomach. It is possible that if you performed upper abdominal exercises that you can tone that up and start noticing more definition of your abs. You have to work all the muscle groups in the stomach to achieve that "six - pack" look.

even though you dont have a six pack it doesnt mean that you dont havee muscle there. it is the muscle structure.
