That's a dangerous amount to lose in such a short time. I think the best way to lose weight is to do so gradually by healthy eating habits and exercise. I went to school with a girl who lost 60 pounds during summer break and she came back to school at 120, but she had flabby skin and looked worse in a bathing suit than she did before she lost the weight.

To get down to a healthy range for your height you don't need to go below 136lbs and with the right program this is achievable safely.
You must make sure you get between 100-125gms or (3.5-4.5oz) of Protein a day. This will build lean muscle mass.
.This will mean you will have 3 meals plus 2 snacks all including some protein as your body can only cope with so much at one time other wise it will put strain on your kidneys and liver .
The easiest and most convenient way is to find a high quality Meal replacement + Protien Powder for two meals, one colorful main meal and two healthy snacks(They don't need to be rabbit food)and this will give you 1300-1500 calories a day. This will give you your (Resting Metabolic Rate) or calories burned at rest.
Any activity you do will loose weight if you stick to these guide lines. The more you get your heart rate up ,the more fat you will burn.If you havn't done a lot of excercise for a while ,gradually build up .Start on your treadmill and do 10-15 min 3 -4 times a week working up a sweat but still without heavy breathing.Do this for a week and then increase to 20 min .It might also be a good idea to get a heart rate monitor so you know you are not over working. As for your weight training keep it to light weights so you can do 15-20 reps per excercise and this will also build lean muscle mass and loose weight. If you have any other Q'S please EMAIL me and I will help you as much as Ican.

It is doable, but not recommended. You'd have to pull a Nicole Richie or Kate Bosworth or something and not eat. Also, remember when you exercise that muscle weighs three times that of fat so maybe you should be looking at inches rather than actual weight. Factor your bone density into it (are you large or small boned?) and just alter your eating habits. It's hard (I know hon, been there, done that) but if you start starving yourself it will take away from the sheen in your hair, the calcium out of your teeth - your body literally eats itself for the things it needs. Take a great multi-vitamin and see a doctor to ensure your health is kept up.

Good luck - and remember, Scarlett looks way better than Kate :)

That's a lot of weight to lose. What would help you is to get a job that involved a lot of heavy physical work. Don't starve yourself too much while doing that, because your body is burning up a lot of fat anyway, and you're not going to work any better with little food. Working aboard a ship like this, by the time you get off, you would have lost a lot of weight.
