Cannabis Cookies

Ingredients
1/16th oz. cannabis
4 oz. butter
4 oz. sugar
8 oz. plain flour
1 medium egg, beaten
1 teaspoon mixed spice
Ingredients
Preheat an oven to gas mark 4

Warm up a frying pan containing, about 1/2 oz. of the butter, over a stove. Crush the cannabis as much as possible, and fry very gently in the oil for about 5 minutes, and leave to cool.

Cream the sugar and butter together with a mixer, until white and fluffy. Add the now cool cannabis butter, and mix futher.

Add the beaten egg, a little at a time, beating after each addition

Sift the flour and spices, and mix them, about a third at a time, into the mixture, with clean hands.

Once the mixture is a firm dough, roll it out into a 1/4 inch thick slab, on a floured worksurface, with a floured rolling pin. Cut out shapes of your chosing with a cookie cutter, and re-roll the remaining dough. Any leftover dough can be frozen

Place the cookies on a buttered baking tray, and bake for 20 minutes, or until they start going brown.

Leave to cool for 10 minutes, and consume with caution

The amount of cannabis in these can be increased greatly, but as accounts of consumption of hash brownies will testify, eating a lot of pot has fairly dramatic results. These are meant to be quite weak, and with the quantity listed, will not have a strong taste of weed.

However, it should be noted that I make these with good quality skunk, which is better than many people (esp. over in the US) usually use. For more standard weed, an eighth or more may be better. At the strength I make the dough, and rolled into 50 cookies, 1 or 2 is noticable in a non-smoker, 3 or 4 is noticable in a smoker, 5-10 good fun, and more than 10 is fairly monging. Eating more that half a batch would really **** you up for about a day.

Butter Cookies(yummy!!)

3/4 pound (3 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons bleached all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
Assorted sprinkles

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cream the butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle, on medium speed, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary. Cream the mixture until it is smooth and fluffy. Add the egg yolks 1 at a time, mixing in between each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Beat for 1 minute and add the vanilla. Combine the flour and the salt in a medium-size mixing bowl. Mix well. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix on low speed until it is fully incorporated. Increase the speed to medium and mix until the batter is thick and creamy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and the paddle. Lightly flour a flat surface. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thick. Cut the dough into the desired shapes. Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper. Place the cookies on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake until lightly golden, about 20 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool completely in the pan. Remove the cookies from the pan using a spatula. Repeat the process until all the dough is used. Frost each cookie and garnish with sprinkles.

That's a big question considering we don't know what flavour your after. But a quick tip: Make more dough than you need and then wrap what you don't use roll it into tubular rolls and freeze for quick/no mess cooking next time.
