I am looking for free software that can record videos off the internet to put on my hard drive or ipod. For example, a program that could record a video off of youtube. I have both Windows and Mac, so programs for either platform are fine. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the legality of this issue, but you can probably use Camtasia Studio demo, without having to pay for it, to capture all you want.
Search it out, it should be just what you're looking for.
