Here are some sandwiches that taste good (at least I think so) and are easy to make -- (As you can see, I like peanut butter and I like cream cheese. I also like the nutty flavor of cracked wheat or multi-grain bread.) --

--Peanut butter and sliced-up peppers - anything from sweet green peppers to jalapenos (or hotter!) will work.

--Bacon, tomato, and peanut butter on toast - delicious!

--Peanut butter, your favorite sliced cheese, and green olives.

--Broiled or grilled portabella mushrooms (use the big ones - they will shrink when you cook them) with cream cheese (I like cream cheese with onion for this, but plain cream cheese is good, too) and lettuce (Don't omit the lettuce! It's just not the same without the flavor and texture of lettuce!) on toasted bread.

--Liverwurst and cream cheese with a big slice of sweet onion on a bagel.

Now, I want to try your favorite sandwiches, too!

You forgot one, one great one and is soooo easy:

12 grain whole wheat bread toasted to perfection with melted peanut butter and BANANAS---- soooo yummmy almost tastes like a dessert not a meal!

And I agree about the peanut butter and bacon--- it's delicious, but it does make me thirsty all day

I forgot one-- I call it my thanksgiving sandwich--- turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce mayo and a very thin layer of spreaded yams on the bread-- the other side the cranberry and on the turkey the mayo--- it is sooooooo goood

Good whole grain, nutty bread...spread with a garlicy pesto or tapenade on one side and a spicy mustard on the other, creamy havarti cheese, sliced kalamata olives, great tomatoes when in season, lettuce and sweet red onions. Simple and spicy!

nicely, a cheese sandwich do not have a lot you are able to upload to it. I truly imagine bread is significant. it really is going to be a softer bread, yet also, could be cooked like grilled cheese, or panini. i might want to apply a good melting cheese... fontina, Gruyere, mozzarella, or maybe cheddar... you are able to also throw some parmesan cheese in there. in case you are able to upload different elements, tomato might want to go large with it. once you're gonna upload pear, then throw in prosciutto besides. A Pear, Prosciutto and Fontina panini might want to be fairly kick ***. secret: cut up some flat leaf parsley and positioned some on the sandwich with the cheese with sparkling cracked pepper... and with the pear layer, drizzle extremely of lemon juice on it. The lemon and parsley will liven up the elements and make it flavor extremely sparkling.

i used to eat everything sandwich style. one of y favorites was making thick mashed potatos and adding mac n cheese with a piece of ham and what ever canned veggies i had lyin around like green beans or peas or corn and mixing all of it together and putting it on to a sandwich. peanut butter and chili together is good too.

Grilled peanut butter and jelly. A little messy, but soooo worth it! Not really a "diet" food either.
