What would you do when someone you dislike (a kind of disliking that you don't know the reason) tells you that "I love you and want to be with you 'till death and beyond"?

I'm panicking right now..... What should I do!

Tell them that you are flattered, but you don't like them that way. Simple and honest, its the best way, otherwise they will always hope.

The easiest thing is to do nothing - but that will inevitabley cause problems in the longer term - you have to be honest, but take time to think about what you are going to say - you need to be compassionate, but to make sure you get the message across - not easy!!

you've got the "sniff" its a gift sort of like the shining. to dislike somebody for no reason is a gift. its a pre-emptive warning that this person is no good. what you do is tell them to get lost!

tell her that you are just not ready for a long term relationship right now until you are sure that you can support a family of twelve children plus your mother and granmother and any other family that might want to move in with you.

Sadly, you must tell them that you do not feel the same way (Don't actually say that you dislike them)
But do it courteosly.
It would be unkind to give them false hope.

It's probably better to tell them the truth, it might hurt their feelings now but if you string them along and then tell them later it will just make it worse.
