This is my third baby but I was never given a shower for my previous two so we had to make due with the barest essentials that we could afford from thrift stores/yard sales. Now my first is 7 and second is 5 and all we have are a few things a friend recently gave us. While I can make due with just essentials like before, I'd really like to have some of the nice to have items but I'm worried it would look tacky to register for them since most people will know this is my third but won't know the history. It seems most people assume I've had 1 or 2 showers already. My husband's work and my friend are co-hosting a shower. I have no idea who should be invited (we have no family to invite...just friends and acquaintences) or what I should register for (my friend asked me to). Who should be invited? What should I register for? Just the essentials or include things I'd like to have as well?

i imagine having images of the flaws she needs is somewhat tacky. i might want to be particularly offended if I were given an invite like that. i imagine having a be conscious that she is registered at objective, isn't tacky it really is in consumer-friendly words options for the invitee to help make a range. in case you pick to seem on the registry the documents is and in case you do not it really is way less puzzling to brush aside. . yet having images of issues is somewhat on your face. it type of feels more effective like you're being advised what to purchase, no matter if that couldn't the reason.

Go nuts!!! Register for whatever it is that you want....just remember that people will buy what they want for you!! There is nothing wrong with creating a wish list....it's not like you are actually telling people they HAVE to buy these things for you!

As far as who to invite....once again, invite the people you would most like to share your excitement with. Try to create a good mix....to keep your shower lively!!

HAVE FUN!! Whether it is your first or your seventh....babies are WONDERFUL and should be CELEBRATED!!! CONGRATULATIONS and HAVE FUN!!!
