It's been my personal experience that you get your personality from your upbringing and not really school. It's not all upbringing either tho it has alot to do with the friends you end up hanging out with and The things in your day-to-day life that happen to you. You might be thinking school because of the time frame in which yout changes occur and the fact that you meet most of your friends and have most of your experiences in school. But I think that how you handle things makes your personality and two kids in the same school with the same friends who have the same experience will react two different ways based on how they were effected by their parents/guardians.

Your personality is a combination of about 50% nature and 50% nurture. In other words, some of it is genetically programmed, and some is taught to you, mostly during your childhood. The influences you had in your early years, including parents and school, help with the second fifty percent.

Part of your personality comes from school. The largest part of your personality comes from your parents. However, another good chunk comes from your actual DNA, or your friends, coworkers.

One thing to realize though, believe it or not is that your personality actually stays constant for your entire life.

Well genetically, no. it stems from DNA... but in all actuality, it does help determine who you are to become. Obviously life in general helps shape our personality. You pick up things and learn from your environment and experience. So chose your friends wisely, bc it does greatly affect who you are as a person and who people will see you also.

you get your personality from everything actually that you've experience...you get it from your experienced...some say from their genes and that's kind of true too. So yeah you get it not only from school..but also from your family, friends, movies, music, and just everything around you.
