What kind of answer do you want..are you having trouble getting ahold of your boyfriend..his name is the same in both languages.
If you'd like to talk to his parents learn spanish..if you just want to talk to your boyfriend speak english and ask if he is home by saying his name.
"Is so and so Home" I Think they will understand.

Hola, Puede hablo con HISNAME. (asking permission to speak with him)
If they keep speaking spanish just say
no habla espanol
