This is in the "hair" category...hmmm....
Anyway, if you don't speak Spanish, learn the phrase "I do not speak Spanish"....it's "No habla Espanol", then say sorry. Do they not speak English at all? Is that's the case, coordinate the time you are calling with your bf so he can answer when you call. Even easier, have him call you. Take care! :)

What kind of answer do you want..are you having trouble getting ahold of your boyfriend..his name is the same in both languages. If you'd like to talk to his parents learn spanish..if you just want to talk to your boyfriend speak english and ask if he is home by saying his name. "Is so and so Home" I Think they will understand. or Hola, Puede hablo con HISNAME. (asking permission to speak with him) If they keep speaking spanish just say no habla espanol

just say hi to them in the language you know best, you could try in spanish ;) Then just ask for his name...i'm sure they know his name right! and they should hand over the phone like that. oh do they know english? are they doing it because they do not like you? I guess i am not understanding your question, i am sorry if i am not. But just ask to speak with your boyfriend!

Hair category? Cute. Deal with it. They are his parents and that status alone should make you more tolerant. Otherwise, find a good old American boy for your boyfriend. Comprende?
