Take this from someone who knows. Long distance relationships take a LOT of work and commitment from both people and it takes a lot of time. Take it slow (as in feelings/planning)... If you start dating things will work out for themselves as long as you BOTH put forth the commitment. After a little while, you'll know if it's right for both of you the more involved you both get... Then you can plan more for the future knowing how commited you each want/will to be.

The first thing you want to do it take into consideration of how long you two have known each other and how much you two really do like each other. I think that long distance relationships can only work if there are strong enough feelings to keep you faithful, despite the lack of intimacy that normal couples would have from living in down the street or something. If you believe that you can trust him, and he can trust you, then you should certainly go for it. I'm in a long distance relationship right now and I'm five states away from who I wanna be with, and trust me, it isn't easy, but at the end of the day, it's worth it. And when you're not with him, he'll get to know you're mother better! :-)

one or both of you will eventually end up cheating on eachother or break up. You can't make a long distance relationship work. You can't call some who lives in Texas your boyfriend and you live in New York. You must have contact with this person you have to see how they really are. It has to be more two hours at least once a week.

See where it takes you. Don't shut out any possibilities; just go in with your eyes open realizing that it may or may not work. My first marriage started off as a long distance relationship (250 miles), and lasted three years before we married, and then another 15 after that.

depending on how long you will be apart it can work. I am in a 6 month relationship and we are in different states i only see her when i come home from school for brakes. It depends on if you can trust each other because trust is everything.

depending on your age and maturity, I would say break up because there is no real future. Yes, the heart will grow fonder while you are missing each other, but do you really know that guy?

The best you can hope for is a long distance friendship.

from my experience these do not work out very well cause you miss the person so much and cannot be with them. also both of you are also being tempted where u are at with the opposite sex. so from my experience it is very difficult and i do not recomend it.
