I have been talking to this guy and he is very repressed about tthe discussion of sex. He happens to be a virgin and I am one as well, but he believes that women intentionally cause him to lust after them. Is this a red flag? I am happy that he has decided to wait until marriage to have sex, but some of his ideas are kind of crazy. He is also struggling with pornographic material and lustful feelings. Are guys like this dangerous?

It's hard to say, although ... with his way of thinking (that women are "intentionally" causing him sexual distress) it can't be ruled out. For some, it's easier to blame others for their feelings and/or actions, than to take responsibility for it themselves.

It is nice that he has chosen to be a virgin but the whole talk about lust is alittle crazy. Guys are lustful to girls it is human nature. That's how it works. It sounds like he is very religious. In this day age, very religious people who are to the extreme could possibly be crazy. I think it is a red flag. I think it is great you are a virgin. But there are alot of great guys out there who have been with a girl. That is just life sometimes it does not work out. You might want to consider your options.
