1. Let's break this down ....
a) What is public relations?
"Public relations (PR) is the art of managing communication between an organization and its key publics to build, manage and sustain a positive image."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_relations
b) What is an NGO?
"The term non-governmental organization (NGO) is used in a variety of ways all over the world and, depending on the context in which it is used, can refer to many different types of organizations. In its broadest sense, a non-governmental organization is one that is not directly part of the structure of government."

c) What is PR for an NGO?
"Non-governmental organizations need healthy relationships with the public to meet their goals. Foundations and charities use sophisticated public relations campaigns to raise funds and employ standard lobbying techniques with governments. Interest groups may be of political importance because of their ability to influence social and political outcomes. At times NGOs seek to mobilize public support."

2. So ... What is the role of public relations in an NGO in India?
a) Well, there is probably little or no difference between India and other countries, in the context of the aims of an NGO's PR (unless you can think of any). There may be differences in the dissemination of information, depending on the communication media available in India.
b) So the role of PR is to fulfil these puposes:
(i) public awareness - of the organisation, its work and the issues that it deals with;
(ii) recruitment of volunteers - to help with the NGO's fieldwork, or to handle various administrative tasks, or to be a celebrity patron;
(iii) fundraising - appeals for money, or gifts-in-kind (e.g. clothing);
(iv) campaigning - to get laws changed, to appeal to the international community, to seek governmental action or assistance, to change public opinion;
(v) emergency appeals - for disaster relief, assistance for refugees from violence, other unforeseen crises;
(vi) there may be other purposes - see if you can think of them.

never repeat no longer. What could one gain different than destruction on the two aspects? is this the purpose or the potential? could we gain our purpose? an excellent NO. in spite of each thing we might like the top of terrorism. conflict will probably boost the hatred. in spite of the shown fact that our purpose must be to impact the international community to pressurise Pakistan to contain the priority communities. conflict could in basic terms visciate the relationship between the two neighbours.
