I once had to have an operation and be put to sleep because I had over 8 cavities. I have probably have had over 13 total fillings and I have not been to the dentist in 2 years.

I have no teeth pain and now that I am older I take good care flawing , brushing , Listerine etc...

But I am super scared of needles. I have not gotten my vaccinations and I plan on not getting them. I researched all the sicknesses I could end up getting so I know all the signs and how to prevent myself from getting them. I will probably end up getting some shots someday or dieing but I really do not care I hate needles that much.

If I know I need a shot I literally do not sleep the night before and if I know weeks in advance I sometimes get stressed out. If the shot in one in the arm I get very sensitive in my arm just thinking about it and even the air in my room can hurt my skin.

P.S unless you are a dentist you cannot even tell I have had any cavities and I still have all my teeth but I have had a root cannel done.

i have 3 fillings and they were all done before i turned 14. i'm 28 now and for some reason i haven't had any cavities until a few months ago. you shouldn't be embarrassed because people usually don't notice them. plus you can get the white colored fillings which make them harder to see. you should definetly see the dentist so you can at least get your teeth cleaned. tarter builds up on your teeth and makes them yellow. i clean mine every 6 months. make sure you brush your teeth at least twice a day. brush those gums too.

Some people have teeth that are more prone to cavities than others. There is nothing to be embarressed about but you do need to see your dentist regularly. Untreated cavities can not only be painful but can cause bad breath and can result in dental extraction if left too long. I have a mouthful of fillings, but then I'm quite old.

I'm 26, been smoking since 18 and have never had any dental work. I also cannot remember the last time I ate a piece of fruit.

You see, it's all in the maintanence.

Brush twice daily for nice clean choppers.

Go to the dentist, these are small problems, everyone gets filings and cavities. If you're a kid in the US you can get practically free dental care especially if your parents are in a lower income bracket

To many to count. That's why you need to take care of your teeth while you are young because believe me it's no fun having them break off in pieces. I could never afford to look after my teeth financially. Hopefully you can.

I have more fillings than I can count. It's not that I don't take care of my teeth, they are just weak. I don't have any teeth that haven't been worked on.

none...why??? because I take care of my teeth. Start brushing more often. No girl/guy is going to want to kiss you when all your teeth are missing before your 18. Get a tooth brush and some tooth paste and get to work...FAST! Moving on...NEXT QUESTION PLEASE!
