Spirit?
In that case it should have been told from the Holy Spirit's perspective.

Different, somewhat. Conflicting, no. Ever try asking 4 witness to an occurrence about anything? Of course you're going to get 4 different perspectives, but it doesn't diminish anything that happened or make it less true.

The Gospels were written from 4 different perspectives because the men came from different cultural, social and educational backgrounds. The Holy Spirit does not overtake you to the point of making you a robot, but it inspires and utilizes the gifts, talents, experiences and backgrounds of the people it inhabits.

Also, I would think that the Divine Plan would want to appeal to as many people as possible. This is accomplished by employing 4 different writing styles. Each person wrote what was most important to him (and what would stand out to his culture.)

The Gospels are not conflicting each other. What you're seeing is like 4 different witnesses on the four corners where an accident occurred at an intersection, and each one is telling you their perspective. Most of the Bible is inspired by God or men hearing directly from God. The disciples, who knew Jesus personally, are writing what they witnessed and quoted from him.

Wonderful question, the answer is that each person that wrote the scriptures are speaking to different peoples. For example Paul is speaking to the Gentiles who had no foreknowledge of who Christ was and Peter is speaking to the Jews who had first hand knowledge of the prophecies of the Messiah. Each writer has his own way of conveying the message to where the listener would be able to accept and understand. You must remember that the Holy Spirit gives to each what HE perceives one to need everyone isn't going to receive the same blessings. So, just as if two people watch the same movie and one had to explain it to a child and one had to explain it to an adult the explanations would of course vary greatly. Because a child has to be taught one way so that he/she will be able to understand and an adult will be taught with some type of understanding already.
May God Bless You

Good point. When formless Truth is translated into linear words there is much lost in translation.(you must experience truth to know what is beyond words) I think the apostle Paul was trying to personify the Holy Spirit, but was limited by the language and beliefs of the times.--------I am often inspired by the Holy Spirit, yet the information must still be sifted through my beliefs, preconceptions, etc., and there is always the risk of distortion.

IT'S BECAUSE THE GOSPELS WERE INSPIRED TO DIFFERENT WRITERS BY THE SAME SPIRIT. WHEN THESE AUTHORS WERE INSPIRED IT MEANS THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE DIFFERENT PEOPLE THE SAME MESSAGE, WITH DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES, WAS WRITTEN.
ALSO, DON'T FORGET THAT THESE WRITING WERE CANONIZED BY THE CHURCH.
