Becoz most of the websites are in English . And fyi English is no more an Alien Language . It has become a part and parcel of our daily lives in India . It is a common connecting language between our diversified States with people speaking a number of different Languages .

Well, I'm in Canada but I'm shocked if your really in india and dont know the answer
I suspect your american.
Still, India has alot of languages. Compare india to europe.
In actual fact english IS one of the official languages in india and is the language of education if not that of provincial politics.
Mabye i missread your question. English has been used in India since the British came and to my understanding, Hindi, and all those other languages are doing quite fine.

India is known for "Unity in diversity ". THe unity not only points to people of different races but also for the languages. We have been the home for people of different kind. When u can speak english why not we read,write,talk,eat,speak,sleep english???
