Yes, it's a wonderful place! It's where I was born. The paradise of shopping and eating. You can nearly eat any cuisine there! The tea, Hong Kong style is wonderful! They don't make it with teabags and their egg tart is also a Hong Kong delicacy. Yeah, there will be the rather disgusting thing like eating snakes and stuff, but nobody says you have to try it. They even have things like a cow's stomach or something like that. The Ocean Park is great, though many say that the Hong Kong Disneyland is not worth a visit, I think it's quite worth it, I mean how many Disneylands are there in the world? You can also go to the Ladies Market and places such as Admiralty, Causeway Bay and Central to shop. If you want a view of "old" Hong Kong, you might want to visit Cheung Sha Wan and Sham Shui Po. They are about to tear down some of the old buildings though. Sheung Wan is also a great place as there is a street full of antiques. There is also a wonderful night view up at the peak and you might want to take the peak tram. As the people, well, there are rude people in every race. Yes, I admit Hong Kongers would sometimes swear and stuff, but they are nice people generally. They might not be able to communicate so well in English, theor grammar might not be so good, but you can get the hang of what they're saying. Have a great trip and remember to take the MTR!

Hong Kong is the best place. Go to Mong Kok, Kowloon. You can find the Ladies Market there. You can get some cheap stuffs! Also, go to Dim Sum in any small restaurents! Take the MTR or the bus to get around the city. You should also go to the Peak of Hong Kong where you'll see the whole view.

I have never been to Hong Kong personally, but my dad has gone and he swears it is his favorite place ever. He hates travelling in general, dislikes foreign things, but loves loves loves Hong Kong. I think if someone so phobic to different things can love something so drastically different as Hong Kong then it must be pretty great..
