WHY are good people abused by immigration,i'm american and i can clearly see its about race,and money?

to many latina spouses are denied the right to immigrate, while if you are latino and wish to come here to work just to earn money you are viewed as a boosting factor to the U.S Economy if you came illegal thats good because then you have no rights like a slave, and what the government tells the public about the immigration process is not how it really works if you are latino involved in that process of trying to come here,if your american and you marry a latina what you find out is the immigration sevice will make you wait and wait for some times 3 years or more just to be with the wife you have, most marriages can't go through that type of stress and i am very sure thats why they do it, so why is the government permited to distroy a otherwise perfect marriage,after the so called back ground check is finished shouldn't that be a long enough waiting time,what is the point to the extra years of waiting anyway? who is in control us, or the government , thier working for us right??

I have yet to hear why the wait takes longer than the background check,this should be proof enough that the system is enginered to fail,-finish the documents completly as they go across the desk and stop dragging it out so long, save a little on immigration departmental cost, why can't they finish the documents they start working on any way?? do they like years of back logs on hand or what.

All countries in the world that give subsidies to services like education for poor people limit how many poor people can immigrate. Poor people can not make enough money to pay enough tax to cover the $10,000 per year per child that education costs in California, much less other services poor people use like food stamps and aid to that child. The rest of us raise our own children and pay tax not only to cover our own children's educations, but to pay for aid to our poor. We do not agree to take on the poor of the world who come illegally. The more who come illegally, the more strict in checking the immigration service will be.

If more illegal immigrants come from one region that from all other regions put together, those regions will find it harder to get processed. I am very sorry for the legal ones who are NOT committing marriage fraud, etc. but it is the fault of the more than 10 million here illegally, not the fault of racism.

As to destruction of a perfect marriage, they can reunite on the other side of the border, if they don't both have the right to be here. It is their choice if they would rather be separated.

I agree that the illegals are exploited in employment but did you note that it drives the legal worker wages down to the same level? It is the LEGAL workers who are victims, having done nothing against the law to 'buy' that problem, not the illegals who broke the law to put themselves in that situation.

I do believe you are on the right track and make some very valid points . The point about slavery and no rights are especially true . Now the people on this board will be quick to point out that as an illegal , you are not entitled to any rights .. However I believe your point is referring to the motivation of the Power structure and elitists , that control things here in the USA. And the bottom line about the elitists is , that they make no distinctions about race . If possible they would have whites , blacks, Hispanics alike all subservient to them . So they may want to enslave you now , but they will certainly come to enslave me later .. That is why immigration is not enforced and needs to be enforced.

It is actually five years now, and while i understand its to make sure these marriages are legit...the whole process is still incredibly goofy. I know people who waited seven years after filing paperwork to get a letter back from the government telling them their info has been recieved and that they should check in 4-5 more years to know if they have been accepted to recieve visas.

Because ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is FOREIGN INVASION...foreigners have killed(accidents, drinking driving or ?) or murdered 24,000 Americans since 9/11 thats more than we have lost in the war !

Their is a 10 yr waiting list for Philipinos to do it legally, and I work with a woman from Africa who had to wait 3 yrs to join herself,husband and son, life isn't fair.
