The important thing is not to disturb the clots. You can brush your teeth but very, very carefully and don't go all the way to the back of your mouth. Don't brush as vigourously as you might normally and reduce the amount of toothpaste. Disturbing the bloodclots in the socket will be painful and result in renewed bleeding but it will stop (unless you are a haemophiliac). Your toothbrush may also introduce bacteria to the sockets so first douse it in boiling water from the kettle. Warm saline mouthwashes keep the sockets/mouth clean and promote socket healing.

I had all 4 pulled at the same time. It was rough because your not suppose to use a straw either, to get a milkshake down. It took me about 4 days, and a lot of mashed baby food, and nothing too hot or too cold.
I was given a syringe with a curved point on it to flush any food out of the sockets. I just brushed as usual, but payed attention to the way I brushed. Gentile with a soft brush.
Good Luck.

I got all mine taken out and ate right when I got home.Mind you it did hurt a bit and I had to eat small bites but it wasn't that bad.And you can brush your teeth right away from what I know...good idea to use a soft bristled brush and be careful to stay away from the back though.
It does depend on how sore you are though.I had a lot less trouble then most people I have ever talked to who had the same thing done.

Your doctor will tell you for sure, but depending on If you stopped bleeding, you will probably be allow ed to rinse your mouth with salt and warm water the first day you do it.. You can rinse 2 times a day for 3 days. The salt helps heal the areas and gives you good dry sockets, as my dentist says. After 3 days I was allowed to brush-gently. and rinse more frequently. Chck with you doctor first and Good luck.

I was down for a full week!! i could brush the front ones, but, i couldn't eat solid food, just ice cream to keep the swelling down, and cool soup. A friend of mine said that his dentist said that it was "abusive" for a doctor to pull all 4 at one time, and i agree. Suerte.

Depends on how fast you heal and your tolerence level for pain. You can still brush around the areas if you're careful.

It depends how much it hurts.... i would wait 3 to 5 days it depends how wide you can open your mouth. You want to remeber that you dont want to spit that often.
