The trick to gaining weight is to do so in healthy manner so that your cardiovascular system doesn't suffer. You can still gain without eating lots of junk food.

For starters, your eating all day long keeps your metabolism fired up! You may want to eat fewer times per day and increase your carbohydrate intake.

Also, you may want to hit the weights instead of massive amounts of cardio. Muscle is heavier than fat and looks a whole lot better. To bulk up, you would want to use the heavier weights and fewer reps as opposed to lighter weights and more reps.

If you go by this, not only will you look better, you'll feel better and have more energy. :) Best of luck

Junk food is definitely not the answer. Just like there are diet foods out there that actually make it HARDER for people's bodies to lose weight becaues they are full of fake crap and lack nutrients, junk food is a false hope to gaining weight when that is what your body needs. A healthy diet is about maintaining a HEALTHY weight, not necessarily losing weight. The junk food is not nourishing your body in a way to bring it to a healthier weight.

Eat a lot of things with natural fat in them - higher fat milk, cheese, etc. Avocadoes are an excellent source of fat, as are many kinds of beans, peanuts and cashews, and dark chocolate (it's actually pretty good for you, if you watch the sugar!). And EAT REAL BUTTER.

Eat good protein and you can afford some fattier meat - like red meat, dark meat on chicken and turkey, ham, and eat eggs, too! Eggs are great for this kind of thing and a great source of protein. With that stuff, you just have to watch your cholesterol. Beans and nuts also have a lot of protein.

Eat good carbs - whole grain breads, whole grain pastas, fruits, carrots. The cakes and cookies aren't actually all that bad - they're not great, but they're not bad. Stay away from packaged cakes (like Little Debbies, for instance) and candy.

Get your vitamins by eating as much GREEN VEGETABLES as possible. I know it doesn't seem logical, but if you can make your body well-nourished with the vitamins and iron that it needs, your food will be processed better and the weight will go to muscles and you will not gain bad weight so easily.

This is a pretty standard high-fat diet, but everyone's different. If you're still having trouble after a while, talk to your doctor because he can help, no doubt.

AND exercise will help you to gain muscle and keep your body using the foods in the way it is supposed to.

I suggest instead of eating all the time, esp junk food, you should probably exercise. You may lose some weight at first, but if your work out your arms, you're bound to make muscles, get fit, and gain weight (from the muscle weight).

ps. I'm not sure how old you are, but I know my dad when he was a teenager was extremely thin, but he grew up and gained a lot of weight due to a slower metabolism. My brother is very skinny too, but he has been eating a LOT of carbs lately and gained twelve pounds.

Try protein. Be sure to eat lean meats. Be mindful though, heart attacks don't care about, age, sex, race, weight, etc.

Eating junk food and not gaining weight may seem cool, but a heart attack doesn't care how small ya are; it takes no prisioner.

Horse heads have 2600 calories of which 1400 are from fat.
IF you eat the eyes and all. Eat one a day in addition to
your regular foods and you WILL gain weight. It worked for
me.

Well, you're gonna put on a lot of weight in fat if you're just eating all day. Stick to the healthy foods but exercise a bit too...remember, muscle weighs more than fat! :)

if you're eating a lot and still losing weight, you might want to try going to the gym. in that way, what you eat will be turned to muscles and not go to waste.
